Still remember the hip and suave song ‘Beautiful Girls’? Fresh from his global hits ‘Beautiful Girls’, ‘Take You There’ and ‘Me Love’, Sean Kingston will be heading down to Kuala Lumpur this July to party with you at the Shout! Awards!
Sean Kingston, the 19 year-old Miami born and Jamaica bred artist, is not just a new face in popular music. He has accomplished the rare task of creating a new genre where rap, reggae, pop, doo-wop and remarkable songwriting all combine into something totally refreshing.
Much has happened since the now 19-year-old emerged in July 2007. “Beautiful Girls” made history as one of the fastest ascents up the charts ever. Following that, the singer/rapper scored three more top ten hits including “Me Love,” “Take You There” and “There’s Nothin’.
Sean’s sophomore album, Tomorrow, due out on Epic Records in August is a reflection of his growth as a young man and evolution as an artist producing chart-topping singles. The first hit from the new album is called “Fire Burning”.
This July, fans of Sean Kingston will have a lot to celebrate as the singer/rapper will be making his way to the Shout! Awards! Not only will he be gracing the event, fans should also be excited to witness his definite mind-blowing performance at the Shout! Awards.

The Shout! Awards will be held on the 17th of July 2009 at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. This brand new award show will also be aired LIVE on 8TV at 8.30pm, starting off with the red carpet arrival of celebrities, artists and personas of the entertainment industry.
The Shout! Awards was created to give recognition to those who have made great impact and creative breakthroughs in Malaysian music, film, TV and radio. It is a 2.5 hour TV special and the first-of-its-kind awards show for these four industries, aiming to reward the most-deserving artists, actors, radio and TV faces.
It is also a platform for the fans to voice out their definition of the new cool in the entertainment scene.
It will feature awards for the best in the local entertainment arena (TV, Film, Radio & Music) and will also feature outstanding and mind-blowing performances by local artistes and bands through exciting collaborations.
