News Event Movie Music Making Money Sport Tips

This is to inform you that Rock The World 8 will be held this year on the 20th December 2008 from 2pm ’til late at the Secret Garden, Stadium Merdeka, Jalan Stadium off Jalan Hang Jebat. RTW 8 is presented to you by Era, Hitz.Fm & XFresh and the event will be ticketed at RM25 per person. For more details, please check out www.rocktheworld.com.my.

Tickets can be bought at the venue on the concert day or at Maju Junction Mall and at any Rock Corner, Music Valley & Extreme outlets.

There are 16 artistes that will be performing at the Rock the World 8 concert such as:
Estranged, One Buck Short, The Times, Pure Vibrations, Bunkface, Republic of Brickfields, Butterfingers, Koffin Kanser, Zip Zieller, The Other Side Orchestra Laila’s Lounge, Revenge, They Will Kill Us All, Komplot, OAG and Upon Arrival.

Rock the World 8 has taken the next step to venture in doing RTW 8 College Campus Tour. 6 Colleges/Universities have been selected to hold the RTW 8 College Campus Tour in order to give opportunities to musicians/students with the burst of energy and talent for music but do not have the opportunity to show it to the nation. Besides that, they also get to perform in front of thousands of people alongside our local artistes as well. Not only will this give them exposure but an encouragement as well to take their talent one step further.

During the Concert day, the first 1,000 entries will receive a FREE Zero Hour RTW 8 t-shirt.
